Cheese Culinary Team Member
Supervise all aspects of the Cheese section of the Grocery Department. They must assist customers as needed and maintain a friendly , energetic demeanor. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines set by the Food Service Department.
Areas of Responsibility
Stock cheese department, including presentation of product, facing, filling, and organization of all product items set by Food Service Department Schematics as well as ensuring tag and pricing accuracy. Rotate cheese products and maintain olive bar, paying attention to expiration dates and spoilage
Receive inspect and log shipments for accuracy, and maintain department paperwork.
Build and maintain product displays, coordinate monthly promotion changeovers. Sustain High level of product knowledge and preparation, selling and cross selling products.
Ensure department organized and sanitary.
Other Duties as assigned.
Education / Experience Requirements
HS diploma or equivalency degree. Must have 2 years professional experience. Preferred 2-3 years grocery retail experience in Cheese department processes and procedures. Must be familiar with Health Department Guidelines.
Must have knowledge of MS Office
