They are issued in denominations no larger than $500.00 per single gift card, and are guaranteed for their face value. Some retailers may ask you to follow their normal check cashing procedures by providing identification. They may not be exchanged for cash. Gift cards are the same as cash. If your gift card is lost or stolen, it cannot be replaced.
